On 18th January, 2001, UREC signed a turnkey contract with Myanmar with the total amount of US Dollars 18.1 million to build Sinmin 2 Cement Plant with 700t production capacity per day which is now one of the main cement producing lines exported from China to the developing countries in Southeast Asia. Advanced techniques have been adopted in the production design of the plant, which leads to high output and reasonable costs so that it has become one of the best cement plants in Myanmar.
